Microsoft are stopping support for Windows 10 as of October 14th, 2025. After this date, your computer will still function, but it will no longer receive security updates, feature updates, or technical support for Windows 10. Previously Microsoft did not specify which processors a Windows upgrade will support. This time they have and alot of businesses will be caught out as their computers do not meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11. This leaves 2 choices, stay with Windows 10 and risk security issues which will be handled by Windows 11 or replace all the computers which do not meet the minimum specs for Windows 11. Of course depending on the number of computers you have, you may choose to upgrade them progressively. Windows 11 supports 8th generation CPUs which have been out for awhile, however there are still alot of Windows 10 computers with a CPU less than the 8th generation.
